Job Description:
Senior Software Engineer - Automations is responsible for
planning, designing, and developing automations solutions for HR in
the Workforce Technology team.Responsibilities:
- Automation Design and Development: Collaborate with HR/Business
stakeholders to identify and document automation requirements;
Design, develop, and maintain RPA workflows using UiPath
Studio/another RPA Tool such as PowerApps/Power Automate to
automate manual and repetitive tasks within the HR domain.
- Integration: Integrate RPA solutions with other systems and
applications, such as databases, APIs, Enterprise applications,
Workday, SAP, SAP SuccessFactors and third-party software aligning
with the integrations standards and principles.
- Process Assessment: Analyze existing business processes to
identify automation potential, feasibility, and ROI; Develop and
maintain process documentation, including detailed process maps and
solution design documents.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test cases
to ensure the accuracy and reliability of automation
solutions.
- Debug and Optimize: Debug and optimize workflows to improve
performance.
- AI Research: Research and Analyze AI products and features,
that can be applied to improve business processes, identify
potential, feasibility and ROI; Develop recommendations for future
strategic direction or product enhancement and integration
opportunities using AI into the Automation area.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams,
including business analysts, product owners, solution architects,
subject matter experts, and IT teams, to gather requirements and
ensure successful implementation of RPA solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
for RPA solutions, including technical specifications, process
design documents, user guides, and training materials.
- Compliance: Ensure that RPA solutions adhere to industry best
practices and compliance standards, including data security and
privacy regulations, architecture and standards.Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a UiPath RPA Developer, or
other RPA Development such as Microsoft Power platform including
the development of automation workflows.
- Proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Automation Hub,
Insights, and relevant UiPath libraries.
- Strong knowledge of RPA concepts, best practices, and
methodologies.
- Deep understanding of business processes and the ability to
identify automation opportunities.
- Expert at integrating solutions with REST APIs.
- Strong Experience developing in a cloud-based platform such as
Microsoft Azure, AWS.
- Advanced debugging skills, unit testing and problem-solving
abilities in Dev, QA/UAT and Production environments.
- Experience with a source code control system such as Gitlab and
CI/CD.
- Experience in agile development practices such as Scrum using
tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Teams.
- Basic project management skills to handle automation projects
effectively.
- A commitment to staying up to date with the latest RPA trends
and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical
challenges and optimize automation solutions.Desired:
- Experience in one or more general purposed language preferably
Java and/or Python.
- Experience building integrations with LLMs including RAG and
Agentic AI approaches.
- Experience with AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
- Experience in Front-end technologies like React and/or
Angular.
- Exposure to Data Engineering/Data Warehousing
methodologies.Education:
- BS Computer Science, information systems or related technology
field or equivalent work experience.Preferred Education:
- MS Computer Science or related technology field.#DISNEYTECHThe
hiring range for this position in California is $138,900 - $186,200
per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account
internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's
geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may
be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the
full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent
on the level and position offered.
