Overview:The Floater Pharmacist (Bilingual in Spanish) appropriately dispenses prescribed drugs, handles incoming physician calls, logs data into the computer, performs Rx workflow processing, and conducts drug utilization reviews.This is a full-time position based in Orlando, FL and covering three other locations in FL. One of the other locations is also in the Orlando area and the other two are in Wilton Manors and Fort Myers.When working in Wilton Manors and Fort Myers, this Pharmacist will need to travel and stay overnight in a hotel (approximately 20 to 25%).About the Role:Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal lawsMaintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and servicesAssist with managing pharmacy operations and supervising Pharmacy Technicians/ClerksCollaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptionsEnsure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacyKeep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programsConsult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriatePerform other related duties as assignedPerform in accordance with company policies and standardsEmbrace and perform in the spirit of the company's core values and goalsAbout You:Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of FL1+ year of full-time retail pharmacist experience preferredMust be Bilingual in SpanishWilling and able to travel for business as needed, approximately 20% to 25%Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skillsAble to efficiently work, mentor, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environmentExperience with the 340B Program a plusAt Avita Care Solutions, compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do.
