Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Hotel Engineer ll to join our Facilities Maintenance team supporting various areas of our resort building operations! Starting hourly compensation is $20.50. All shifts are open: AM, PM, and Overnight.Loews Hotels & Co co-owns and operates eight hotels in partnership with Universal Orlando. Each one is an attraction in itself with distinctively themed environments that range from an Italian seaside village to a Caribbean island paradise. As a member of our Building Engineer and Facilities Maintenance Team you will be ensuring our guest have a safe, comfortable, and ultimate Universal Orlando Resort Hotel experience.As a Hotel Engineer ll, you will enjoy:

  We are looking for people who have some of the following skill sets and knowledge:
  • 
    
  • Troubleshooting and repairing multifunctions in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, -basic carpentry, paint/wall cover, and ceiling work.
    
  • Conducting ongoing room preventative maintenance program.
    
  • Resolving maintenance problems, complaints, and other work orders to prioritize and schedule work.
    
  • Assist guests with any requests.
    
  • Inspect property to identify potential and current needs.
    Qualifications:
    • 
      
    • Post high school training in engineering/maintenance-related discipline.
      
    • Ability -to read, write, and speak basic English fluently.
      
    • Strong mechanical background with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance-related activity.
      
    • Previous hospitality or apartment complex experience preferred.
      
    • Ability to bend, stoop, and lift ( up to 75 lbs.) repetitively.
      
    • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
      
    • We are in the Hospitality business you must be guest-oriented and possess excellent hospitality skills.
