Job Description:

Seeking licensed physical therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients in a comprehensive facility offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.


UF Health Shands Rehab Services is dedicated to providing excellent patient care through comprehensive rehabilitation programs, creating a safe and comfortable environment that empowers individuals to manage their care independently.
Our rehab centers accomplish this with close working relationships between our therapists, support staff, and referring physicians, providing rehabilitation services and education to patients.
We offer continuing education, journal clubs, staff mentoring, and the ability to be involved with student clinical education and our UF Health accredited residency programs in Sports and Orthopedics.


Our adult rehab center specializes in orthopedics, neurology, and pelvic health, with a wheel chair seating clinic and pool therapy programs.


Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to patients.
  
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a rehab therapy field.
    
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
    
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    
    Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'.
