Bone Marrow Transplant Program Director at the University of FloridaCompany/Institution: University of FloridaLocation: Gainesville, FL, USAPosted: February 17, 2025Application Period: February 18-March 19, 2025The Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time faculty clinical investigator clinician-research track position for the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible) hematologist-oncologist with experience in hematologic malignancies and blood and marrow transplantation and an active interest in the development and conduct of clinical trials. This individual will have a primarily clinical assignment, but will also be expected to develop, conduct, and participate in clinical trials and other collaborative research involving patients with hematologic malignancies, blood and marrow transplantation, and cellular immunotherapy.The successful candidate will ideally have the training and some experience in developing investigator-initiated clinical trials and interacting with laboratory scientists for translational research. Resources provided are competitive salary, protected time, and the resources of the Cancer Center clinical research office, which provides study coordinators, regulatory support, and biostatistical support. The BMT Director will serve as the Program Director for both adult and pediatric hematopoietic cellular therapy in accordance with FACT-JACIE Standards and other state and federal regulations.
