February 18-March 19, 2025The Department of Medicine is seeking
applications for a full-time faculty clinical investigator
clinician-research track position for the Division of
Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor
level. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible)
hematologist-oncologist with experience in hematologic malignancies
and blood and marrow transplantation and an active interest in the
development and conduct of clinical trials. This individual will
have a primarily clinical assignment, but will also be expected to
develop, conduct, and participate in clinical trials and other
collaborative research involving patients with hematologic
malignancies, blood and marrow transplantation, and cellular
immunotherapy.The successful candidate will ideally have the
training and some experience in developing investigator-initiated
clinical trials and interacting with laboratory scientists for
translational research. Resources provided are competitive salary,
protected time, and the resources of the Cancer Center clinical
research office, which provides study coordinators, regulatory
support, and biostatistical support. We have a culture that
strongly supports conduct of clinical trials, and we enter nearly
15% of all new patients to treatment interventional trials.Faculty
in the UF Division of Hematology and Oncology are members of the
University of Florida Health Cancer Center (UFHCC), the only
NCI-designated Cancer Center in North Central Florida. The center
is also the only NCI-Designated Cancer Center based at a public
university in Florida. The UFHCC blends comprehensive patient care
and innovative research in a collaborative, multidisciplinary

Program Director (PD) will lead all aspects of the BMT program
including education, research, accreditation, and clinical
programming. The BMT Director will serve as the Program Director
for both adult and pediatric hematopoietic cellular therapy in
accordance with FACT-JACIE Standards and other state and federal
regulations. The BMT Director will provide leadership for
administrative and clinical operations, compliance of program with
Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT) standards
and other regulations/policies.Minimum Requirements: Applicants
must be board-certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology
and/or Hematology and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.The
