Overview

At Lucina Analytics, we are dedicated to improving maternal and neonatal outcomes through innovative analytics and actionable insights. We collaborate with healthcare providers, payers, and public health organizations to deliver value-based solutions that create measurable impact. As we grow, we are seeking a Director of Implementations to lead the development of scalable project management workflows and directly manage internal and client-facing projects that align with our mission.
The Director of Implementations will report directly to the Vice President of Payer Strategy and Growth. This role will oversee the execution of both internal and client projects, ensuring their successful delivery while establishing scalable workflows and best practices. The Director will play a critical role in driving project success, collaborating across functions, and building foundational systems to support future growth.
Responsibilities

• Manage Internal and Client Projects:
  Lead and execute end-to-end delivery of internal initiatives and client engagements, ensuring projects meet defined objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Build and Optimize Workflows:
  Develop and implement scalable project management workflows, tools, and methodologies to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
• Establish Best Practices:
  Define, document, and refine project management standards, ensuring alignment across all initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  Partner with internal teams, including clinical, analytics, IT, and operations, to ensure seamless project integration and alignment with organizational goals.
• Client Engagement:
  Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering trusted partnerships.
• Risk Management:
  Build proactive risk identification and mitigation frameworks to anticipate challenges and maintain project momentum.
• Communication and Reporting:
  Develop structured communication plans to provide regular progress updates, address issues, and share actionable insights with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Capture and apply lessons learned to refine processes, improve workflows, and support long-term organizational growth
  Qualifications
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration (REQUIRED)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent project management certification (REQUIRED)
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex internal and client-facing projects, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Expertise in value-based care, payer-provider collaborations, and healthcare delivery models.
  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and healthcare IT workflows.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, interoperability standards, and healthcare data integration.
  • Knowledge of payer claims, eligibility, and standard data files (e.g., 837, 835, 834, 270/271) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence to track project progress, manage workflows, and foster collaboration.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Proficiency in additional project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in maternal and child health or population health is a significant plus.
