About the Team:FIS Cloud SRE is looking to add an experienced, professional, and energetic Cloud engineer to our growing team. Successful candidates will have a solid background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a specialization in Terraform, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure. Candidate should have strong sense of responsibility and ownership and can drive a complex problem to completion.What you will be doing:

• Design, implement, and document our next-gen Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ecosystem.
• Advocate for and apply best design practices when it comes to availability, scalability, operational excellence, and efficiency.
• Automate Manual and repetitive tasks to reduce operational toil.
• Deploy and enhance components of our environments, such as Container Services, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Databases, monitoring, and alerting tools, etc.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Cloud (AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) deployments.
• Maintain ongoing improvement of processes, and best practices to meet security, cost, and agility requirements.
• Contribute to and maintain design and process documentation.
• Continually seek opportunities to improve SLA/Uptime and minimize customer impacts.
• Understand, champion, and enforce security and compliance policies and procedures.
• Will be working in a highly available, 24/7, public facing Linux environment.What you will need:
  • In-depth knowledge and experience building cloud infrastructure in a commercial setting using Terraform Enterprise (TFE) and associated technologies.
  • Experience building high availability publicly facing ecosystems with 24/7 uptime and 99.99%+ SLA.
  • Previous experience in deploying Kubernetes in Cloud using IaC (AWS EKS /Azure AKS)
  • Experience utilizing scripting languages to automate build and deployment activities. (Python, PowerShell)
  • Broad knowledge of the architecture of enterprise-level information technology building blocks (e.g., Networking, Databases, Messaging, RBAC, etc.) and software platforms.
  • Understanding of internet technologies. (Web servers, encryption, XML, HTTP, Web Services, API's, etc.)
  • Effectively prioritize deliverables and manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to multi-task and work across a range of projects and issues with various timelines and priorities.
  • Driven, dedicated contributor that expects excellence from him/herself and the team he/she leads.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Expert Level Terraform Skills
  • Ability to diagram and document designs.
  • Experience building cloud infrastructure for commercial, client-facing applications.
  • Understanding of Cloud databases such as RDS, Aurora, etc.
  • Understanding of messaging/event software such as Kafka (MSK, Event Hubs).
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting production-facing environments.
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Linux-based environments.Added bonus if you have:
    • HashiCorp Terraform certification is welcome.
    • Knowledge of FIS products and services a plus but not required

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $84,720.00 - $142,320.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
