Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager-Patient Financial Clearance
(Insurance Verification) to oversee patient financial clearance
functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage pre-registration, payer authorization, and financial
counseling functions to ensure efficient patient financial
clearance
Lead and develop staff, ensuring training and competency in
financial clearance processes
Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and implement
performance improvement processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration,
health care administration, or a related field
Five years of experience in revenue cycle management in a
healthcare setting
Knowledge of hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and revenue
cycle technologies
Understanding of third-party payer rules and regulations
Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT coding, as well as medical
terminology
